Industrialists should go for quality to remain in export market

Karachi, August 29, 2016 (PPI-OT):Local industries should go for quality control and cost-effective products in order to compete in the export market, this was stated by industrial expert from CompAir, John Fyfe. At a seminar on industrial efficiency and cost-effective production, organized by Imtiaz Rastgar here the other day, in which over 100 industrialists and their representatives participated, John said that Knowing the right air quality level required for successful production is an important factor in containing compressed air energy and other operating costs, because higher quality air is more expensive to produce.

John Fyfe, Compressed Air Expert from Gardner Denver, highlighted the oil-free use of compressed air for food and pharma manufacturing and the degree of dryness and filtration needed for the minimum acceptable contaminant level to the end uses.

He described the problems with typical nitrogen supply methods and why on-site gas generation is best for food and pharma manufacturing. A nitrogen generation system can reduce costs by up to 90% when compared to traditional methods of supply.

Former Chairman, Engineering Development Board (EDB), Imtiaz Rastgar while speaking on the occasion said that local industrialists have access to a dedicated team of trained engineers at Rastgar meets all expectation of industries, together with a full range of Air Compressors from CompAir, Hydrovane, and Quantima.

All sectors of the compressed air production like oil free, turbo, water injected, vane and screw compressors are available from Rastgar Air Compressors, to suit all needs of customers. Rastgar association with Gardner Denver enables them to meet industry’s needs for Nitrogen Generators also, he added.
