Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Takashi Kurai called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra in Peshawar today (Friday).
Matters of mutual interest with special reference to the situation in the region came under discussion.
Speaking on the occasion, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said peace has been restored in FATA after successful military operations.
He said a number of developmental works are underway in FATA to bring tribal areas at par with other progressive areas of the country.
Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said the tribal people have rendered great sacrifices in the war against terrorism and it is the need of the hour that the international community should come forward to help them.
