The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Regional Center for Remote Sensing of North African States (CRTEAN) will hold an International Conference and the accompanying Exhibition of Digital Geography and Technology in Tunis on September 26-28.
The conference is aimed at building the capacity of member states in the field of space sciences and remote sensing as well as applying them to various vital sectors in the member countries. It also aims to provide a platform for sharing the latest developments in the survey and geographic information industry, including remote sensing.
Further, the event seeks to raise awareness and attract decision-makers, people from academia and the private sector, policy makers and representatives of different national and international organizations working in the field of space science and remote sensing technology. Furthermore, it is intended to enhance capabilities in space science and its useful applications in many fields.
The Morocco-based ISESCO will be represented by the Tunisian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture in the conference, which will see the participation of a number of professors, academics and experts from member states.
