Karachi, January 20, 2015 (PPI-OT): Mian Muhammad Adrees, President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry has expressed his deep concerns over the current shortage of petroleum products all over the country and said that it is hampering the economic activities in the country and the life of a common man as well because the public and private transports have become paralysed. He further said that due to non availability of fuel many petrol pumps in the country are closed.
The President FPCCI requested the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif to take immediate strict action against those who are responsible for the shortage of petroleum products in the country. He urged for immediate import of petroleum products on urgent basis from nearest supply sources and said that it is very unfortunate that due to lack of planning of concerned Ministries and companies people are suffering shortage of fuel and spending their precious time in hours for getting fuel on petrol pumps.
