Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that the government is taking effective steps to provide basic facilities to people in FATA.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of National Commission for Human Rights led by its Chairman Ali Nawaz Chohan in Peshawar on Wednesday.
The Governor appreciated the role of NCHR and stressed the need for joint efforts with FATA secretariat for the protection of rights of the people.
Meanwhile, presiding over a meeting of Senate of University of Swabi in Peshawar today, Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra directed for transparency and merit in the affairs of university.
He said quality education is inevitable for national development.
